I hope this finds you and your family safe and healthy. In light of the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus, my colleagues have been keeping you updated on the various measures Standard Chartered Bank has been taking in this time of unique challenges.

We have taken series of actions to reduce the risks to you and to our employees. We have a well-established business continuity plan covering pandemic outbreaks and we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure there is minimal disruption to our services. We have instituted a set of protocols which include fewer face-to-face meetings, working remotely, split teams and locations. Our branches and Phone Banking services will continue to function, with reduced staff and limited timings:

Due to these measures, you may face longer wait times at branches or Phone Banking and there may be slight delays in executing your requests. I request you to bear with us as we navigate through these testing times together.
Our Relationship Managers and Wealth Specialists continue to be available on call to you, for any queries that you may have. Our website sc.com/in is being regularly updated with important information / updates. Our digital banking platforms continue to be fully functional to give you complete access to your accounts from wherever you are. I would also recommend to you that you use digital modes of payments, like fund transfers, UPI etc. in order to further reduce the possibility of transmission risk from handling physical cash.
In case you would still prefer to visit a branch, please rest assured that we have taken all necessary precautions like regular in-branch disinfecting and hand sanitisers.
