To further strengthen security controls on debit card service, your existing "Cirrus / Maestro ATM Card" (Card number starting as 5898) will cease to be in service by 31st March 2023

Shall you wish to accept the card replacement, please first read the Standard Chartered Multi-Currency Mastercard Debit Card Terms and Conditions ("TnC"), then reply to acknowledge and confirm to accept the relevant TnC and agree to be bound by them in order for us to proceed the application on or before 31st July 2022.
Once we have received your acknowledgement, a new MCY Debit card will be sent to you by 30th September 2022. Alternatively, you may request a replacement card at branch or though SC Mobile App. Upon receiving the new MCY Debit card, you will need to use it to re-register for PPS service, re-activate overseas ATM withdrawal function and reset any transaction daily limit (if applicable).

If there are insufficient available foreign currencies in the Account to settle the full amount of the transaction, or the transaction made is denominated in a currency outside of the supported 11 currencies of the Account, the transaction amount will be converted into HKD at an exchange rate we reasonably consider appropriate and the equivalent converted amount in HKD will be debited from the linked HKD Account. A foreign exchange rate mark-up fee of 0.95% on the full amount of the transaction will be charged to the Account. Please note that in case you have insufficient funds in HKD, the transaction will be rejected.
